If a person has trauma ( c.f. What is trauma ) in a person's emotion, the heart of this person works just like the heart of child.

The heart of a child consists of knowledge and emotion. Knowledge is the function of new cortex of the brain. Emotion is the function of old cortex of the brain. Knowledge of a child is developing and emotion of a child is already established. Emotion can be changed by only conditional reflex.

Fundamental knowledges for considering children who have troubles in their mind. Most of these children now in Japan have the TRUMA which reacts against school. It is true in other country in the world there are many children who feel fear from poverty,violence etc.. not from trauma.
( You need not use this theory for children who have no trouble in their mind because these children have enough mental energy to continue to do fair actions or their mother gives them enough joy to overcome certain tough mind. )

Important ways to think about children with touph mind are like following.

1. They want to grow according to the instinction they have and like what adalts want.

2. They want to flee from fear they feel. They must flee from fear to protect their heart.

3. They must do something fun in oroder to elase their fear when they feel it.

4. Sometimes they act bad ways ( we adalts must think if children act bad way, they try to flee from the fear they feel ).

5. Fundamentally they are good children and when they not feel fear they can be good children.

6. Thry act fair action as long as they can bear acting fair action. If they come to their extinction of bearing they show violence or pathologic symptoms.

$1 Reaction ( Motion )

We must think of reactions of children from neuroscience. Humanbeing has conciousness and emotion( animals have only emotion). At the same time there are ideas of conciousness and unconciousness. Repeating concious reactions ( voluntal movement ) change into unconcious reactions( involuntal movement ).

*Reaction from conciousness; This reaction is specific for human adult ( we must be careful that reactions of children which are thought from conciouness is those from approach system of emotion ).
*Reaction from unconciouness;

Reaction from unconciousness is devided into
**Cortex reflex = Habituation
**Emotional reflex = emotional reaction

Emotional reflex is devided into
***action from approach system = joy
***action from avoidance system = fear

$2 Brain( Cerebellum )

Cerebelum has two kinds of cortexes. One is new cortex and the other is old cortex. New cortex develops between evolutional animals and old cortex is alcomt common between manmals.

*New cortex
Reaction from conciousness & Cortex reflex (repeating reaction from conciouness & repeating reflex from approach system lead to cortex reflex )

*Old cortex Emotional reflex ( joy: approach system fear: avoidance system )

**Reaction from approach system depends on instinction and what is experienced till then.
Reaction from avoidance system depends on only instinct ( four fear stages of reaction )

**repeating stimuli in approach system induces habituation & cortex reflex
(repeating stimuli in approach system lose their effect of approach system )
repeating stimuli in avoidance system induces four fear stages of reaction & cortex reflex
(repeating stimuli in avoidance system multiply their effect )

**exception nobel stimulus depending on distance from the stimulus ( approach => conflict => avoidance )

Frustration: awareness of difference between knowledge and actual situation makes fear
extent of fear depends on extent of difference

$3 Fear conditional reflex ( Please confer Trauma )

If fear inconditional stimulus (produces fear )& Indifferent stimulus exist at the same time, this fear reaction changes this indifferent stimulus into conditional stimulus with almost same fear induced by inconditional fear stimulus produces.

The stronger fear inconditional stimulus is, the stronger conditional reflex establishes and the stronger fear reaction will be produced.

$4 Generalization of fear conditional reflex ( Please confer Trauma)
In the case conditional stimulus & indifferent stimulus exist at the same time, this conditional stimulus changes indifferent stimulus into conditional stimulus which produce almost same fear induced by conditional fear stimulus produces.

Generalized fear conditional stimulus did not exist at the place where original fear conditional reflex established. Generalized fear conditional stimulus can exit in our daily life. Therefore a person who has this generalized fear conditional reflex always feels fear( mainly autonomic nerve symptoms and psychiatric symptomes ) and anyone can not understand why this person shows many autonomic nerve symptoms and psychiatric symptoms and suspect this person has mental illnesses.

$5 Fear stimulus

*Instinctive fear stimulus is pain, too much strong sensations, and solitation.
*Other fear stimuli are accomplished by imitating mother's emotion until around three years old and by conditional reflex.
c.f. Fear stimulus always creates autonomic nerve reactions inside our body and neural reactive body movement outside to avoid fear.

$6 Four Stage of Fear Reaction( human being shows following four stage of fear reaction )

*flee from the source of fear
*fair action to avoid fear (only human )
*fight or bad actions against the source of fear
*freeze (human shows psychic symptoms )

These fear reactions are induced directly against fear stimulus. This fact is very important to know what a child is feeling fear from.

$7 Differnce between brain of child and brain of adult

*Children have different neural networks from these of adult. From this reason conciousness of children can not control their emotion (adults can control their emotion ). Words mean just knowledge of a child and action means emotion of a child. A child reacts only from emotion (An adult can react from their words).

*Knowledge of a child is less than adult's but emotion is almost same as adult (adults do not know this fact )

*Body and power is smaller than that of adult (there are limitation for children to show fear reaction ).
From these three factors children can not control their fear from their will. Children must be progtected by their parents.

$8 Trauma

Trauma makes extrodinaly strong fear without any causes in one's daily life. This fear happens suddnly and can not be controled by one's own will.
Trauma is the fear conditional reflex whose fear conditional stimulus is regularly exists around us and we can not recognize that this stimulus makes strong fear in certain person. Therefore trauma is a kind of fear reaction whose cause is regularly exists around us and we can not recognize that this cause makes strong fear in certain person.

$9 Phobia

Phobia is the fear conditional reflex whose fear conditional stimulus is sometimes exist around us and we can understand why a person feels fear from our experience. We can protect this person from fear stimulus if we want to do.

$11 There is no developmental disorder of children

Charactor of children is fundamentally built like following

Babies are born with the instinctive charactors( abilities ) to live out of uterus. This charactors makes babies be capable to glow under the protection of their parents and at the same time babies copy the charactors of their parent. Copying the charactors of their parent leads to add new charactors to the babies.

With these instinctive charactors and copying charactors babies and infants contact with their families and the results of their experience makes the charactors of infants. We often start to aware the charactor of a child.

As children grow, the range of their activity spread wide from their family to their neibours, friends and nature. Repeating these contact and reaction their charactors become tight and add new charactors. Total experience makes specific charactor of each child. The charactor among small children ( until several years ) ranges widly and parents and adult do not try to limit charactor of each child.

When a child starts to live in society out of family, they start to have limitation from society. If we feel the charactor of a child is far out of our common sense or the reaction of a child is far out of our common sense, this child is regarded as development disorder.

As children grow they can rebuild their charactor by their own experiences if their heart is active and pleasant. If their heart is unstable their charactors change to the way adults hate.

Developmental disorder means that we adults do not allow the charactor of a child which is not suitable to our society and deny the human right of that child.

$12 There is no psychic diseases of children

   We have not found any proof of existance of psychic diseases. We only have found the change of psychic diseases in our brain. This changes are also induced from the reaction to fear. Children show symptoms of psychic diseases through avoidable fear. Fear reaction of children produces symptoms of autonomic nerve and psychic diseases. In most of cases of children who show many kinds of pathologic symptoms we can find the origin of their fear. Taking out this fear from children these symptoms of autonomic nerve and psychic diseases surely disapper. Because of this reason I dare to say there is no psychic diseases of children.
